I first heard about this song because I saw a Reel/Short/Tok of an interview where she said the lines about shorts is a reference to a YouTube video where Madeon - Pop Culture was the background. I love connections like that, super cool, and then I listened to this song my whole way home the backroads way, and that just really solidifies a song.
